Veteran’s Gruelling 100 Mile Ride

Veteran’s Gruelling 100 Mile Ride

Mark Howard set a challenge to ride 100 miles to raise money for The Bridge for Heroes to provide help and support to other veterans and their families.

Mark relies on a wheelchair after suffering two serious injuries and took up hand cycling in 2013.

The challenge was to ride around Kings Lynn, Wisbech and Sutton Bridge. Supported by fellow riders Karl Perryman, Rob Womack, Simon Mccoy and Philip Carter plus a support vehicle driven by David Punshon.

The ride was a huge challenge in the 30-mile headwind. Fortunately, all completed the challenging ride apart from being tired but in good spirits.

Well done to everyone and thank you for the support.
